This is an Australian and American based cartoon network produced adult swim show. The Smiling friends are created by Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack. The series was official supposed to launched on Janurary, 2020 but the first season premiered on April 1, 2020 for celebrating the adult swim's annual April day event.
The first season has eight episodes with duration of 11 minutes each episode. The smiling friends also received positive responses from kids as well youth audience. The season is also appreciated and praised by critic as well. IMDB gives this animated series 8.8 out of 10. This is a very good rating score. While rotten tomatoes gives 91% average audience score to smiling friends.
The series follows the story of a company named as smiling friends Inc. The company is providing happiness and joy services to its clients with the help of smiling faces employees. The show main characters are Charlie and Pim, their job is to cheer the clients who are sad and unhappy, they lose their hope to live anymore. So they both trying talk over the phone with these clients and go to clients homes, they make them happy by talking, telling funny stories and dancing, singing anything they could do to give clients their smile back. Although they both have also dealt with their own problems.

In the ending episodes of the season 1, we have seen Charlie died from an accident, a tree falls over him. This break their partnership in company but later it is shown that Charlie is goes to hell and he cheering up Satan there.
If there is season 2 of smiling friends then the story starts with, first what happened with Charlie in hell and second how Pim doing his work without his partner, also we might have seen their boss cope up with their completion.
The previous season was also very funny to watch as well show the sarcasm related issues like making fun of mental health and cancel culture, so we will see again funny and awkward moments.
