Vigil Season 2 Renewed At BBC Released Date and Cast
The show was made by world productions that also made Duty and Bodyguard and other show like save me and The Pembrokshire Murders and others. Vigil season 1 Recap: Ending explained:
When an Scottish fishing boat got disappeared and death happened a person who is on the board that time and no locals can solve the mystery, then an det chief inspector is being appointed name Amy silva and sent her for enquiry the missing boat and person, that is HMS vigil , which is a ballistic missile submarine.
The enquiry put together the police and security service MI5 in trouble because of agent Amy Silva. During the show, mhairi finnea, a fictional trawler was shown sunk by navy nuclear -based submarine called HMS trenchant. There is a true incident which was happened in 1990, the Fv Antares was sunk by the same sub marine, so when the families of the Antares crew watched the sunk scene from the show they got emotional and upset.
However BBC claims that this drams show is completly made for entertainment purpose and not inspired by any real life event. Prentice saves Silva from danger in comportment but later doward kills him. After killing of prentice, doward also sabotage the submarine values after that the water can start felling in the submarine. Walsh and worker also trying to stop water but he failed to do so he sent the communication to the team and run from there. Captain Newsome gets order from the admiralty and also gets to know about danger from doward.
Doward takes Silva as hostage so the Newsome will have to so what he said but suddenly the captain tilt the submarine and doward falls down, soon Silva with help of crew members arrested the doward. In front of Chinese consultant Oakley is arrested by long acre and her team who is victim of murder of jade.
At end Silva and longacre meet up again and returns to dry land for vacation.
Vigil season 2 expected release date:
Good news is vigil season 2 will come in March 2022. But we don't know when it will telecasted as filming is yet to be start so we can guessing that the show will be on screens not before 2023.
Vigil season 2 expected cast:
The people who died at the end of the season one name mark prentice, jade antoniak and Jackie Hamilton can't be come for second season. We are not sure about the Amy Silva whether she will come or not, but people like suranne Jones and rose Leslie will be back as they alive till end of first season.
At first season the petty officer Matthew doward was alive but MI5has him. We will not expect actor Lorne Mac fadyen to play him again. After all whether most actors are alive or dead, we can't expect who will cast in season 2. The casting if actor and others complete depends on the makers and storyline.
