This is a NBC universal comedy- Produced by Stan with association of peacock. The show's first season has already been premiered on January 13, 2022. The first season has six episodes with duration of 22 to 30 minutes.
The series followed the story of Josh Gad as Gary a single father who lived in Australia with his 11 year old daughter Emma. They both are very disturbs with the death of Emma's mother, 7 years before, they both want to overcome from the situation. So they take help of an expert name Isla as in role of Mary. Gary tries to create a distance from her as they both have different life struggles but somehow they come together.
The triangle of relationship of them creates problems in their life; this is how the story continues.

After success of first season, fans are expecting to be renewing for second season. Every season renewing is in hand of maker and lunching partner. So here we can say that there is no officially announcement is done by production, whether they are renewing for season 2 or not? But as per popularity we can hope that the series will come for second season soon.
The first season ends with many question open and with unexpected twists, with this we can expect that the season 2 will be coming to answer the question as well as breaking the suspense.
In a recent interview in 2022, Gad said that the series produced by peacock are unique, original and extremely different from other series. It feels like the new chapters will open in new season.
According to reports, the first season started in spring 2021, and after exact nine months the season launched on peacock. So based on this we can expect wolf like me season 2 will release in starting of 2023.

The main characters of the show Isla fisher and Josh Gas will remain same in their respective roles. As they are the main actors of the series and whole series is about them, so its fix that they will return for season 2. Ariel Donogue played the role of Gary's daughter Emma will be return back for season 2. There many other actors who played important roles in the series are: Emma Lung as Sarah, Anthony Taufa as Ray, Madeleine as Doctor. There might be possibility that new faces will join the season 2.
Expected storyline for wolf like me season 2:
The first season focuses more on that Mary give strength to Gary and his daughter Emma. She helps them for overcoming from pain. After that Gary and Mary come together, but nobody is aware of the secret behind Mary. The suspense is open that Mary is a Werewolf in real, she is also not ready to accept the truth about her but when she is going close with Gary she knows that there will no future of them together, still she remains was loyal in her relationship.
When Gary get to know about the truth of Mary, he disturb a lot and he even couldn't understand how to react, after a while he try to calm himself and then he thinks how he will tell the Mary truth to Emma. How will she react on this shocking new?
The bond between Emma and Mary is very pure and true. After her mother's demise she has gone through with so many up and downs in her life. This is too much to handle for a girl at little age. So in the end of first season shown Emma seen Mary in her real form like a fully grown Wolf. At last Emma, Gary and Mary shred the mix feeling to be shared with each other.
The season 2 will be started where the first season story ends. In season 2 the open questions like how Emma reacts after knowing the truth of Mary and still Mary and Gary be together or they will separate? Are they live like a united family and accept the truth of Mary and solve all the problems after that?
To be sure about the season 2 storyline first we need to be confirmed about that whether the season 2 is renewing or not?
