The Lord of Rings is an upcoming American drama, fantasy and action television series. The first season of the series is created by J.D Payne and Patrick McKay and will streaming on Amazon prime originals.
As per sources Amazon brought the series of lord of ring with a budget amount of $250 million in 2017. The series is expected to have five seasons with total cost of $1 billion. With this amount this series is the most expensive television series till now. The filming of first season eight episodes started from February 2020 to august 2021 in New Zealand. But due to pandemic covid-19, the production has been shut for a while and the releasing of first season was put on hold.
In August 2021, Amazon announced the now the shooting of further episodes of lord of rings will be done in United Kingdom and they also shred that the filming of second season will start from mid 2022.

The first season of the series was supposed to be launched in 2021. But as of now there is no officially announcement is done by the production related to the release date of the lord of rings. Fans are started calling the series as Amazon the lord of rings.
However now, without any title, the show is ready of announcing its first episode premiere, as per sources now it will took 1 year from now to get the season launched.
Amazon announced in a press release on 2nd of August 2021, that the season1 of the lord or rings will be released in September 2nd 2022. Also the channel shared the photos of the first season.
This is no surprise for a television for keeping waiting over decade for a released. This is happens in the studios dates, this is not the movies, first they announced an sooner it is available for watch. It happens in studious release fans need to keep wait for a particular series.
