The actor Alma Ortega, a New York City medic, goes to the Manhatten Island in search of her lost son. Alma has no hope left in searching of son and she is also disturbed with lots of suffering in the world. The show tells how human nature changes as their situation changes, how people react when different emotions came to them. The show is based on the comic book series of Brian wood and Ricardo burchielli.

DMZ Season 1 Recap: DMZ TV Series
After the second civil war, few people choose to leave the Manhattan and many decide to stay in the country and build their own society here. Here is a media working mother named Alma Ortega stay in the safe building with her son Christian. They both separated when the building get evacuated. The DMZ has changed a lot in eight years and first election of governor is going on. Alma is going to find her son in DMZ, even though there is political uncertainty due to election.
Soon she get involved in the political fights and get troubled, her old friend Wilson who is a candidate of election come and save her, here she meets the father of her son and her ex-boyfriend Parco, who has Christian and he changed his name to skel. As Alma wants to be with Parco but he is not interested living with her. So Alma moved and decided to help her friend Wilson to win the election in the hope this will help in returning her son and may be Parco. Wilson set a trap to kill skel as he steal his gold earlier and Parco gets angry and decided to kill the Wilson and skel. Alma saves skel from this evil plan by exchanging candidates of the election.
DMZ Season 2 Expected Release Date:
March 17, 2022 the first season out of DMZ in HBO channel. There are 4 episodes in first season, each hour long duration. Some critics like the show because of good story line and visual effects while others dislike the overall story. About season 2 what we know is the makers and the show creator, haven't made any official statements about launching season 2, so we don't know for sure. Also a second season of the show hasn't been officially canceled yet. So people can still have hope for coming the season 2.
In addition the show is very popular in viewers and they can expect the second season soon. If HBO max decides to keep the show running and entertain people then we can expect streaming of season 2 in quarter 2 of 2023.

Alma Ortega is played by Rosario Dawson, Benjamin bratt, who played Parco Delgado in the role of a mob boss and candidate for governor. For the role of Skel Freddy miyares is casted, he is a henchman who works for Parco and he did it himself. Wilson will hoon lee, odi cast name is Jordan Preston carter and nico real name is Venus Ariel. Rey Gallegos is Cesar; Jade Wu is Susie and Nora Dunn played by Oona. These are casted in the first season, they might be repeated in second season or their might be new people casted in the season 2.
DMZ Season 2 Expected Plotline
Alma is looking for her son in first episode and then the boy has changed a lot in end of the first season, now the Skel get back to his mother and then will plan to defeat his father. The bad plan of Parco will not be succeed and Skel leaves his company and start a new life in DMZ. On the other side Alma play a cunning role leaving everyone behind and she will become the governor of DMZ.
In second season after Alma decision she has to face many new challenges. As she starts a new social life there might be fight start between US army and the Free states Army. In the season Alma relationship with Odi and Skel will be shown.
