Grown ish season 5: Release date confirmed or not?
The first time the director Kenya barris launched in freeform series named Black-ish in 2018, it was a big hit that time. After that the Kenya and comedian Larry Wilmore together co created the Grown-ish season 4 on 8th July, 2021 on freeform platform. Once asked by Hollywood reporter Kenya already said that he is very excited in making of Grown-ish series. He is very protective of it, because the concept of the show is new and I treated this as my baby. He added into that this show give me a lot of confidence to make the show like this, I am really hoping of success of this show, the grown up has a very good chance that the show fifth season will be renewed soon.
The fans of the show are dying to see the season 5, as the previous show Black-ish will complete its eight season by next year and spin off mixed-ish was closed earlier in 2021.
Release date: when the fifth and last season will air?
The official telecast partner freeform has not confirmed anything about renewing of grown-ish season 5, because season 4 is yet to be aired till now, grown-ish pre production and rehearsals take around 1 year to complete after that shooting of all episodes completed. At the end marketing and then finished post production is the procedure. After all that work the season 4 of grown-up first half will premiere in July 2021. Grown up season 4 second half launched after that shortly.
According to the sources the channel has been cancelled a show "everything gonna be okay" a youth oriented shows, this increase the chances of cancelling the show grown up season 5. It depends on the makers and popularity of the show for renewing, if makers feel grown up is worth for renewing they will do that but without any official announcement we can only make guess for renewing the show season 5. We may expect grown-ish season 5 to be launch in last of 2022 and later.
There are other outside threats like covid -19 also affect the launching of any show. Due to covid-19, launching of season 5 may also be changed. Due to pandemic the freeform was forced to delay the release of season 4 second half early 2021 instead of 2020 as this is previous planned launching date. It might possible that the outbreak of covid -19 will have changed the dates of many future shows and their coming episodes like this.

In season 4 of grown-ish many characters have recently shown to be graduated from the artificial university name cal-u. Where all the students in season 4 studied, so there might be few changes happened in casting for season 5.

Its might be possible that new actors may join in season 5 and some previous actors leave the show, all casting will depends on the storyline and makers. When grown-ish season 4 ends and season 5 writing may begin only casting is confirmed.
Grown-ish season 5 plotline:
The grown -ish former known as black-ish star zoey went to her college Cal university and she start her adult life with friends and no family interferes like shaky basis. She has two best friends in the college Ana and Nomi. Zoey starts a new relationship with Aaron studied in the same university. At the end of first half of season 4 zoey and Aaron are breaking up with each other, then Zoey went to a party where she meet with her Ex boyfriend Luca, who offers her a new job. When Aaron gets to know about all this so he gets angry and meet luca and punched him on face. Zoey and Aaron meet at his house where Zoey tells Aaron to help her in taking an internship completion certificate after that she will not required the job from Luca.
Meanwhile Ana has sex with vivek, while Keila and Doug are still facing relationship issues. There is possibility in season 4 second half and season 5 Joey will more focus on being graduated and making good relation with Aaron.
